What is the New Neighbor Project?
WE WANT TO PROVIDE A VOICE.
The New Neighbor Project is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization that provides support to our immigrant neighbors through donation based ESL, Citizenship and HISET classes as well as Citizenship application assistance and scholarship opportunities to help provide a holistic pathway to citizenship for people in our community.

What’s New?
Looking to connect with local resources? Join our four-part series, Navigating Community Resources, starting October 21! Sessions will be held on October 21, 28, November 4, and 18 at 5:30 PM at the Rosedale Library. Learn how to access technology, health care, education, employment, housing, and more in the New Orleans area. Come gain confidence in finding the support you need!
Want to learn Spanish? Join our virtual Beginner Spanish Lunch and Learn class starting August 19th! We’ll meet every Tuesday from 12 PM to 1 PM in a relaxed, friendly setting. It’s a great chance to build your skills and practice speaking during your lunch break. Come learn Spanish with us!
NEW ONLINE LUNCH AND LEARN CLASS
Join us for our Evening Beginner 1 class on Wednesdays from 7 PM to 8 PM and our Evening Beginner 2 class on Tuesdays from 7 PM to 8 PM. A new term begins on August 19, but classes will continue every week. This is a great chance to keep learning and practicing your English. We hope to see you soon!
